We‘ve all had the unfortunate opportunity of sitting through a presentation that was convoluted and didn‘t provide a clear explanation of the topic being discussed. Worse yet, many of these presentations utilize slides and visual aids that are downright confusing and, in many ways, detract from the message being presented. Poorly planned slides and visual aids can even derail what would otherwise be considered an excellent presentation.
The ability to create clear and easy-to-understand slides that reinforce a message is a crucial presentation skill. Many presenters focus on their verbal communication skills but fail to allocate enough time to improve their proficiency in building and using slides and visual aids during a presentation. Our two hour training seminar, Slide and Presentation Visual Aid Tips, provides participants with time-tested concepts to create reinforce their presentation skills via the effective use of slides and presentation visual aids.
This information-packed training program enables both new and experienced presenters to focus on what is often a neglected aspect of most professional presentations. Each and every tip and technique we teach is designed to improve slide and presentation visual aid usage while increasing personal communication and presentation effectiveness. All discussions focus on multiple aspects of using visual aids and slides including how to communicate with the audience when using slides, how to structure and lay out visual aids and how to use multiple methods to reinforce a message. These valuable presentation skills can be used whether one has to present quarterly performance numbers at a departmental sales meeting or deliver a large-scale presentation to convention participants.
Participants practice by building slides and visual aids they would ideally use shortly after attending the training class. Discussion sessions, interactive exercises and other activities allow participants to put to use the skills taught in Slide and Presentation Visual Aid Tips. This interactive approach allows participants to learn by doing so that skills can immediately be used in the workplace or in the field.
