Those professionals with the skills to present to counterparts, customers, association members and other individuals have become rare indeed. In today‘s electronic age, more people have become dependent on e-mail and voice mail and have failed to maintain strong verbal communication skills. In order to become more effective as professional speakers, most communicators simply need training and practice to hone their innate skills to become more polished and effective. Without guidance and proven methods to build professional presentation skills, many struggle when called upon by their organizations to speak publicly.
Our one-day Professional Presentation Skills workshop is an interactive program designed to strengthen the professional communication skills of participants and provide the ability to deliver strong presentations on various topics to clients, coworkers and others within their sphere of influence.
Professional Presentation Skills is an extremely effective class. Designed as a highly participatory one-day training session, professionals will learn and practice time-tested presentation techniques that make presenting clear, manageable and engaging. All workshop training activities are centered on building effective communication skills via presentation skills while strengthening the ability to structure presentations that flow seamlessly. Whether one is focused on educating, informing or influencing, all training modules used in this professional presentation workshop focus on techniques such as preparation, structure, delivery skills, strategy, use of visual aids, and the ability to handle question and answer sessions. These skills are portable from industry to industry and can be used to discuss pharmaceutical research findings to medical professionals or the financial impact of construction projects in a community. Participants will benefit by creating and delivering a professional presentation which, ideally, will be delivered shortly after attending this training workshop.
Each professional is videotaped five times and receives one-on-one personalized coaching and feedback. Training workshop activities such as individual assessments, instructor-led discussions, group exercises, individual activities and question and answer sessions help reinforce the learning process in this interactive professional presentations skills class.
